I was first introduced to metal detecting in the early 1990s when my dad brought home a simple Viking detector. Years later, in 2018, we invested in a Minelab X-Terra 505, and with it I found my very first hammered silver coin, a moment that hooked me for life. Soon after, I upgraded to the groundbreaking EQUINOX 800, and from then on Minelab became my trusted companion on countless adventures. One of the greatest experiences was spending nearly two years assisting with the excavation of a Roman settlement in Belgium, where my EQUINOX uncovered remarkable artifacts, even making national news. Today, I proudly use the MANTICORE, a true beast of a machine that fuels my imagination every time I step into the field.
